Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide essential support and care services to our elderly clients in their homes. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, enhance their well-being, and promote independence.

About the Role

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support services, including general housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, and social support. You will work closely with our clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences, delivering high-quality care that meets their individual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Support clients with mobility issues, including transfers and walking assistance
  • Engage in conversation and provide emotional support to clients
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle
  • An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
