This key role is part of the Design team. As a specialist wordsmith, you will be responsible for creating strategic content, maintaining governance standards, and leading a growing team of fellow writers to craft impactful, accessible, and high-quality content across digital channels.

Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with Copywriters, UX/UI Designers, Marketing, Regulatory compliance, and cross-functional team members to develop compelling content for digital channels in the appropriate brand voice and tone
- Providing guidance to stakeholders on copywriting standards across digital channels
- Gaining familiarity with the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the market
- Recommending accompanying visual cues such as stock images, icons, and infographics to complement written copy
- Understanding copywriting fundamentals (scripts presentations and formats etc.)

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- A tertiary qualification in Journalism, English Literature, Communications or related discipline
- Recent experience as Senior or Wordsmith Lead in the last 5 years
- Over 10 years of demonstrated copywriting experience either in an in-house or consulting capacity for digital platforms and/or direct communications to consumers
- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse and senior stakeholders, to lead and influence, and deliver enhanced customer outcomes
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Sound experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience collaborating with designers and stakeholders for requirements gathering, feedback, iteration, and approval
- Previous copywriting experience in financial or insurance industries would be highly regarded
