Support workers in aged care are required to work in the Hunter and surrounding NSW area. Their role will be to assist clients with daily living activities, domestic assistance, social support, respite, and personal care.

The ideal candidate will promote client choice and positive routines ensuring they are meaningful to the client as per our service delivery model. They must be proactive in supporting clients to enhance their life choices both at home and in the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting Client Choice and positive routines
  • Working shifts in set time blocks/pattern rostering
  • Driving client vehicles
  • Providing proactive support for clients
  • Reporting changes in client's health, care plans, or additional services needed

Requirements include:

  • Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent
  • Current full driver's license
  • Maintaining a current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR
  • Holding a reliable motor vehicle with valid registration and full comprehensive third-party insurance
  • Access to the internet and experience using systems and applications
  • Embracing a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
