Home Lending Specialist Role

This position involves supporting customers in achieving their home buying dreams by providing expert advice and guidance on suitable lending solutions. The role requires a strong presence in the local community, building a credible personal brand with customer base, and establishing a strong referral partner network.

The ideal candidate will have a well-developed knowledge of home lending products and current responsible lending legislation. They should possess a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and establishing rewarding relationships. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a lending environment is required.

About this role:

  • Provide support and advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying goals.
  • Develop business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources.
  • Complete discovery and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions.
  • Attend regular coaching sessions to develop lending knowledge and skills.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • A strong ability to identify and anticipate customers' financial needs.
  • The ability to see the big picture for customers and provide holistic solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a lending environment.
