About the Role
The Allied Mental Health Practitioner will provide counselling services to young people aged 12-25 years at headspace under a Mental Health Care Plan through Medicare-funded items as a private provider.
Our experienced Access team will screen referrals, allocate to the appropriate private practitioner based on the young person's clinical needs and presentation, and schedule first-time clients into your appointment schedule.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration (AHPRA or AASW)
- A provider number for bulk-billing to Medicare
- Indemnity insurance to the value of $10 million
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence
- A current working rights visa
- Satisfactory completion of a Police Check and Working with Children Check
