The Client:

The Role: As a Warehouse Labourer, you will be responsible for various warehousing tasks including picking and packing orders, manual handling, and general warehouse duties.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Picking and packing furniture products
  • Palletising stock
  • Strapping products
  • Shrink wrapping pallets
  • Loading and unloading trucks / containers by hand
  • General warehouse cleaning and organisation
  • Matching customer paperwork to orders
  • Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs (2 person lifts)

Assembly Duties: When required, you will assist with assembling kit-set furniture, using both hand and power tools, following plans, and reading instructions.

Shift Details:

  • Day Shift: 7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday
  • $33 per hour
  • 2 hours daily overtime available

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in picking and packing furniture products
  • Palletising stock and shrink wrapping
  • Receiving and despatch duties
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong WHS knowledge
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 20 kgs

Advantageous Experience: Prior experience in furniture assembly or as a Trades Assistant, hand and power tool skills, and experience following plans are highly desirable.
