Imaging Professional

To provide exceptional patient care, we seek a skilled Imaging Professional to join our team. As an Imaging Professional at our organization, you will work collaboratively with medical providers and assistants to deliver high-quality patient care.

Your responsibilities will include applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, performing and analyzing patient x-rays, and reporting results to medical providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • X-ray Services: Perform x-ray services as needed, under the direction of clinical providers, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients across all age groups.
  • Patient Registration: Conduct patient registration, secure required paperwork and insurance documentation, and verify insurance and patient eligibility.
  • Patient Preparation and Rooming: Inform technical staff of patient flow, prepare patients for examination by interviewing and recording medical history, and confirm the purpose of visit.
  • Stocking and Administrative Tasks: Maintain exam rooms, front desk, and reception areas; ensure providers have necessary medical supplies, and perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and managing correspondence.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, and state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
