Mobile Crane Technician Job

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Crane Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the optimal performance of our mobile and crawler cranes across South Australia and occasionally throughout Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work independently, traveling to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs on mobile and crawler cranes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical diagnosis and repair of mobile and crawler cranes
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements
  • Carrying out complex repairs and troubleshooting issues with crane equipment
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and regulations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or concerns promptly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of mobile and crawler cranes, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites
