About the Role:
As a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist at Rackspace Technology, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of our customers' IT infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting hardware failures, performing maintenance tasks, and providing technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware failures on x86-based servers and replace failed components as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and inventory management.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document and track customer interactions and issue resolutions.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in IT services with 3 years experience in data center operations preferred.
- Familiarity with building, repairing, or upgrading hardware components required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
