Geologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Geologist to join our team. As an Underground Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for participating in the supervision of underground drilling programs, logging and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilising site systems and QA/QC protocols to ensure the quality and integrity of data
  • Collecting and analysing underground grade control data (face mapping, face sampling) in preparation for block modelling
  • Production duties to facilitate the optimal production of gold ore from the underground mining operations in a timely manner
  • Accurate sampling, interpretation, communication and documentation of geological, mining and geotechnical data in the mine environment
  • Ensuring daily ore production data is accurately reported

Requirements:

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Geology
  • Ability to work in a hard rock underground environment
  • Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written
  • Work both autonomously and within a team environment
