About the Role">

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Water Technician to deliver water and wastewater projects safely and efficiently. As part of our team, you will help maintain the community's infrastructure by working on minor capital works related to water or wastewater reticulation systems.

This role requires flexibility with hours, including day shift, afternoon shift and on-call work as part of a rotating roster.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job right, has prior experience in civil excavation works and can address customer and public issues on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Proficiency: Prior experience in civil excavation works related to water or wastewater reticulation systems is essential
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
  • Qualifications: Hold a Drivers Licence and/or MR Truck Licence, White Card, Excavator/Backhoe Licence, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (within 2 years validity)
  • Pre-employment Checks: Hold full working rights in Australia, complete a pre-employment medical and a Driver's Licence and working with children check
