Heavy Equipment Operators for Waste Management

As an operator, you will be working with compaction operations at a landfill or transferring waste to other sites based on your preference.

This role takes civils and bulk earthworks to the next level and is ideal for operators who are seeking a stable local role with decent pay where they can grow and develop within a secure company.

To be considered competent on ticketed machines, you require 1+ year of solid experience.

The successful applicants will be offered:

  • $41.93 per hour casual pay rate plus penalties
  • Long term role with a view to permanent positions for the right candidate
  • Day-shift hours
  • Plenty of hours with great penalty rates
  • Weekly pays

Permanent staff get additional allowances for:

  • Multiple plant tickets attract additional $$ per hour
  • Above award hourly rate - higher wage
  • Meal Allowances
  • Industry Allowance
  • Wet Weather allowance
  • Get a Rostered Day Off - 12 RDO's per year

Multiple tickets preferred so you can be rotated around different machines. Ideally candidates will have 2 or 3 of the following RII tickets:

  • Excavator
  • Dozer
  • Compactor
  • Scraper

While not essential, experience on any of the following machines is a bonus:

  • Moxy
  • Water Cart
  • Bulk water
  • Skid Steer
  • Front end loader
  • Car and licence required to get to work reliably
