Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trail Crew member to join our Mountain Operations team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preserving the unique alpine environment of Mt Buller.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain trails and slopes during summer months, ensuring they remain safe and accessible for all users.
  • Conduct revegetation activities to promote biodiversity and ecosystem health.
  • Perform slope maintenance tasks, including slashing and rock clearing, to prevent erosion and landslides.
  • Assist with summer slope grooming to maintain optimal snow conditions.
  • Support capital works programs, undertaking various projects to enhance the mountain's infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Holding a current driver's license is essential for this role.
  • A chainsaw license is preferred but not mandatory.
