Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Billington Center (Endoscopy) Unit at Prince of Wales Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering person-centered care, leading, supporting and supervising other nurses and care roles, and striving to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, compassionate care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse applicable to an endoscopy setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to identify key messages and concerns
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries in complex situations
  • Current computer skills and experience with health information systems
  • Demonstrated advocacy for and implementation of person-centered practice
  • Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient care
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize own workload
