Job Overview

Mars Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Production Leadership Specialist to join our team. This role will involve leading and developing direct reports to achieve production targets, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity that requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving teams to achieve business objectives, implementing corrective actions, and navigating complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop direct reports to achieve and exceed production targets.
  • Communicate with leaders regarding production time, budget expectations, materials, delays, or concerns.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks within designated areas to ensure timely startup and learning curves are met.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement activities addressing safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate team members during commissioning and product/process validation to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated skills in driving a team to achieve business objectives and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong problem-solving capability, ability to navigate complex problems, and coach others in resolving them efficiently.
  • Proven strength in delivering results through multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead an engaged team and deliver shift targets and outputs consistently.
  • People leadership skills are essential.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with direct and indirect reports and the wider business for immediate or future requirements.
