About the Role

This is an opportunity to lead the design and evolution of scalable backend systems that support admin experiences across large, complex enterprises and growing SMBs.

  • Design and Develop Scalable Backend Systems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain efficient backend systems.
  • Evolve Admin Experiences: Lead the evolution of our admin experiences, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality user experiences.
  • Technical Leadership: Drive technical direction and influence product strategy, guiding architecture decisions and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems.
  • Lead the evolution of our admin experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers.
  • Drive technical direction and influence product strategy.
  • Guide architecture decisions and drive operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Expertise in JVM-based Languages: Must have deep backend expertise in JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience in Distributed Systems: Must have experience designing and leading backend strategies for large-scale distributed systems optimised for availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Strong Skills in Technical Leadership: Strong skills in systems thinking, technical leadership, communication, and disciplined software development are also essential.
