Job Description

As a clinical pharmacist at Campbelltown Hospital, you will provide advanced hospital pharmacy practice within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You will participate in quality improvement, professional development, education, and supervision of staff and students.

">Requirements
  • Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a registered hospital pharmacist AND EITHER
  • A minimum of 12 months experience as a clinical pharmacist in the nominated specialty area OR
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in the nominated specialty area
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for interactions with hospital staff, patients, and carers
  • Judgement and independence in problem solving
  • Clinical drug knowledge and experience applying it to clinical settings, including involvement in medication policy and guideline development or review
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams, with participation in clinical meetings and medical rounds
  • Ability to promote teamwork and supervise pharmacy staff in the specialty field
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Contribution to quality assurance activities
  • Experience in teaching programs with pharmacists, nursing staff, or other health care providers

Additional Information
