Our Opportunity

Role: Reliability Engineer NPI

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the reliability and performance of rotating plant equipment through data analysis, technical expertise, and project management.
  • Develop maintenance strategies, support operational teams, and lead reliability projects in line with asset management standards.
  • Conduct regular analysis of reliability data, including SAP metrics, TUM data, breakdowns, and maintenance costs.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities for maintenance strategies at all respective sites.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations as a subject matter expert to improve equipment reliability.
  • Lead and implement projects to improve equipment reliability, such as Maintenance Strategies reviews and Plant Maintenance optimisation (PMO).
  • Maintain all Non-Process Infrastructure, supporting Civil/Building maintenance, Fresh Water and Grey Water Plants, Diesel Systems, and Green Energy Hub.
  • Ensure site-based Maintenance groups act on recommendations to reduce downtime and prevent premature failures.
  • Support the development and implementation of the reliability and continuous improvement framework.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years site-based, Fixed Plant or Rotating Equipment as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles.
  • Knowledge of EAM, CMMS software, including knowledge of SAP.
  • Working understanding of Condition Monitoring and lubrication techniques.
  • Proven track record in managing technical projects and team performance.
