Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As part of this role, you will collaborate with product development teams to develop testing strategies, automate tests and ensure product quality.
This opportunity allows you to work with consumer Internet of Things (IoT) products and gain exposure to a broad technical stack, from firmware to cloud infrastructure and public APIs.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software quality assurance principles and experience working with Test Plans.
You will be responsible for replicating issues, analyzing root causes and improving testing processes based on findings and insights.
Key Skills Required- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and expand your skill set
- Experience working with Test Plans for software quality assurance
- Interest in working with Internet of Things (IoT) or connected products
- Prior experience with automation testing
- Knowledge of basic Computer Networking fundamentals
- Experience working with industry certification processes
- Experience working with testing hardware products
- Prior experience with command line tools
