Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other vehicle components. You will also use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, and overhaul engines and other critical components to extend the life and performance of vehicles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A strong interest in heavy vehicles, mechanical, and auto electrical skills
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot issues
• Results-driven mindset and eagerness to make a positive impact
• Effective communication abilities to understand direction and fault descriptions
• Dedication, strong work ethic, and reliable nature
• Prior exposure to a similar role or related experience that highlights natural aptitude for the field
• A valid NSW driver's license, any additional licenses advantageous
• Demonstrated commitment to completing studies while balancing work
• Time management, attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
