Resort Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
The Groundsperson is a key member of our resort team, responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens of our property. This includes pruning trees and shrubs, mowing lawns, managing irrigation systems and performing a range of other grounds maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and be able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of plant care and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prune trees, shrubs and hedges to maintain the appearance of the property
* Mow and cut grass and lawns to ensure a neat and tidy appearance
* Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering levels
* Maintain all resort equipment in working order
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong background in horticulture, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment
* Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles
* Excellent knowledge of plant care and maintenance
* Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays if required
