About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Auditor to join our team in Brisbane. As an Intermediate Auditor, you will be responsible for preparing, planning, and executing audit assignments in accordance with Australian Auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and plan audit assignments, including preliminary reviews of client data and substantive tests of transactions and balances.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Draft management letters and audit reports for managers to review.
  • Prepare clear, specific, and well-presented workpapers.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of superannuation principles, strategies, and legislation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and ideally commenced CA qualifications or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in external audit, ideally from an Australian Big 4 or mid-tier professional/accounting services firm.
  • A client-centric approach with a curiosity to understand our clients' business.
  • Good project and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects, organize work, and meet deadlines.
  • A great team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
