The Senior Physiotherapist - General Medicine & Surgery is a key position within the SA Health network, responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in acute medicine and surgery clinical areas.
As a highly skilled and competent clinician, the Senior Physiotherapist will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a team of rotating physiotherapists working across multiple acute wards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating quality physiotherapy services, optimizing patient functional and health outcomes in this specialty area.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in acute medicine and surgery clinical areas
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a team of rotating physiotherapists
- Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate quality physiotherapy services
- Optimize patient functional and health outcomes in acute medicine and surgery clinical areas
To be eligible for this position, the successful candidate must have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
