Lead Educational Program Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Educational Program Specialist to join our team. This role will involve leading the development and implementation of educational programs for children, ensuring their well-being, development, and learning needs are met.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting the growth and development of educators, and collaborating with parents and other stakeholders.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote children's learning and development;
  • Liaise effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services;
  • Support the professional development of educators through coaching, mentoring, and training;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives;
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to educational programs;

Key Qualifications
  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification;
  • Sound experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework;
  • Ability to coach and mentor others;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of child development, attachment, learning;
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based best practice approaches to teaching and learning;
  • Working knowledge of leadership theory and the use of a range of leadership styles;
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyse and challenge conventional practice and ideas;
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification;
  • Blue Card
