Job Title: Vocational Instructor for Youth Justice Centre

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vocational Instructor to join our team at the Youth Justice Centre. As a Vocational Instructor, you will play a critical role in providing vocational skills training to detainees, ensuring they develop valuable skills that will enhance their employability upon release.

Job Description
  • Deliver vocational training programs to detainees, focusing on practical skills development and education.
  • Work collaboratively with custodial staff to design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of detainees.
  • Maintain accurate records of detainee participation and progress in training programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to detainees to ensure they meet program requirements and achieve desired outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or related field).
  • Relevant trade qualifications or experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
