Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Panel Beater to join our team at Western Truck Repairs. As an Apprentice Panel Beater, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to learn the skills and techniques required to produce high-quality finishes on heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace damaged bodywork on trucks, buses, and trailers using welding and cutting techniques and specialized equipment.
  • Disassemble vehicles and label parts for storage.
  • Inspect new parts for damage and ensure correct installation.
  • Reassemble vehicles according to job specifications.

Requirements

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Handle company tools and equipment with care, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and in good working condition.
  • Complete all required course theory work by the designated deadline.
