About Coronary Care Nursing Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our dynamic Coronary Care team. If you possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, we want to hear from you.

As a Registered Nurse in our Coronary Care Unit, your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex coronary conditions
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety through effective risk management and compliance
  • Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Post-graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards)
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team
  • Basic computer skills
