About the Role

AFL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer to join our client's team as a Senior Immigration Attorney. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a refreshingly different holistic high-tech Australian immigration law firm with a global affiliation and enviable 'who's who' international/local corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct client interaction and consulting from start to finish;
  • Technical legal advisory services on all immigration issues, including visa options, eligibility, application merits, drafting submissions/letters of advice;
  • Supervising and mentoring case managers/paralegals;
  • Contributing ideas and assisting in various projects for the sales/marketing and legal tech teams.

Requirements
  • Admitted in NSW with an unrestricted practising certificate;
  • Minimum 2 years post-admission experience in immigration law, specifically in temporary and permanent skilled business visas;
  • Proven ability to highly autonomously manage own cases from start to finish and provide technical immigration legal advice to corporate clients;
  • Ambitious, success/results-driven, commercially astute with outstanding communication/client-service skills.
