Disability Inclusion Facilitator

A highly skilled and experienced professional is sought to deliver the Disability Inclusion Profile to Victorian government schools.

About The Role

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with children, families, and school staff in the Outer Gippsland region to promote inclusive education practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the Disability Inclusion Profile to schools in the Outer Gippsland region
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop effective inclusion strategies
  • Provide training and support to school staff on disability inclusion principles
Requirements
  • Hold qualifications as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist/Therapist, or Psychologist
  • Be currently registered with AHPRA/SPA
  • Have at least 5 years of experience working in or with schools
  • Possess extensive knowledge of child development, disabilities, or learning challenges
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of inclusion principles in education
  • Have experience in group facilitation and communication skills
