About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to provide leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers and support Registered Nurses in their role. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents and families, considering cultural, spiritual, and individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management.
  • Support nursing staff regarding assessment and care planning processes, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.
  • Analyze risk, implement strategies, and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses.
  • Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2).
  • Experience as an EEN in residential aged care/home care.
  • Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis, and on-the-spot problem solving.
  • Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with exemplary communication skills.
