The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and ensuring accountability for the country's Medical Affairs function and team, upholding argenx's values as a science-driven, patient-centric organization.
This role requires strong leadership skills, with experience in high-performing Medical Affairs teams and capability building to meet country-specific requirements.
- Develop and execute the country Medical Affairs plan, aligned with global medical affairs strategies and cross-functional country plans.
- Foster a culture of collaboration with other functions at the country and regional level.
- Maintain knowledge of local regulations, ensure compliance with policies, and promote cross-functional understanding of compliance requirements.
A Medical Director with prior Country Medical Director experience is advantageous but not essential. Experience in complex and rare disease areas, with a background in neurology, immunology, hematology, or dermatology is preferred.
