Credit Risk Manager

We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Manager to fill this strategic role in a leading organisation. This position requires strong credit management expertise, with the ability to assess and review new clients to ensure financial stability and mitigate risk in a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess new client applications, ensuring compliance with established credit policies.
  • Conduct thorough credit risk analysis and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.
  • Monitor existing larger client accounts to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to minimize losses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on credit assessments.
  • Manage a small portfolio of debtor clients.
  • Report doubtful and bad debt.
  • Manage insolvency and legal recovery matters.
  • Contribute to the Receivables Management team.
  • Mentor a small specialist team.
