About the Team

The ICT Resources and Initiatives work unit is part of the Information and Technologies Branch within the Queensland Department of Education. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services and support to our clients, and we are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.

Role Description

The Senior Support and Engagement Officer will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert technical support to customers via various channels
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge bases and information pages to improve available information and support self-service
  • Coordinating purchasing and procurement processes to support team services
  • Preparing and reviewing materials, correspondence, reports, and other documentation for senior departmental officers and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple competing priorities and working in a complex environment
  • Excellent time management skills, including working to deadlines and attending to detail at all times
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust your message for different stakeholders
  • Previous experience in a large, complex operating environment, preferably in an education context
