Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Associate Technical Director, Transmission Line Design to join our team. As a key member of our transmission line design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of major transmission line projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Project Delivery: Accountable for the overall success of all aspects of projects assigned by the Technical Director, including contract negotiation, project management, risk management, and financial performance.
- Financial Management: Manage project profitability and financial contribution, ensuring financial performance in accordance with client proposals, business plans, and budgets.
- People Management & Competency Development: Responsible for the leadership, management, development, and motivation of a small team, ensuring the ongoing development of careers and competencies.
- Education: Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Extensive experience in transmission & distribution, including experience with 500 KVA transmission line design.
- Skills: Strong engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects, excellent communicator with well-developed commercial, analytical, and technical skills.
