Established in 2018, Everyday Independence has grown to become a leading provider of NDIS services across Australia.

We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Support Specialist to join our team in the Sutherland Shire. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with participants and their support networks to develop and implement person-centered plans that promote independence and inclusion.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in disability support and a passion for delivering high-quality services that make a real difference in people's lives. About the Role

  • Provide person-centered support and planning for people with disabilities, their families, and support teams.
  • Work alongside participants and their key supports to develop new skills and habits, problem-solve challenges that prevent participants from living fulfilled lives.
  • Champion the role of a social model practitioner by helping people overcome barriers that keep them from engaging with their local community and the wider world.
  • Develop effective and strong working relationships with people and their families, identifying and addressing factors that may affect relationships, and repairing breakdowns in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Disability (or equivalent).
  • Eligible to be a member of the DEAI (Membership required upon commencement).
  • Ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children's Check.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
