About Our Cath Lab Team

As a skilled nurse working within our Cath labs, you will be part of a supportive team that operates across multiple theatres, covering Cardiac, Vascular and Electrophysiology procedures. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to coordinate and provide safe, efficient and effective evidenced-based nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct high-quality patient care services in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of nurses to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care services.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive and beneficial care.
  • Conduct clinical audits to evaluate and improve patient care practices.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs.

Requirements:

  • Holds current registration with a relevant nursing authority.
  • Prior experience as a registered nurse in a similar setting and a desire to continue learning and developing skills.
  • Experience with angiography procedures and a strong understanding of cardiac catheterization laboratory operations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate effectively and influence others to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to meet on-call requirements as needed.
