Community Mental Health Acute Care Service Director

Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Community Mental Health Assessment Team (CMHAT) and ensuring the effective management of environmental and work health and safety within the service.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct care in the CMHAT, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration with other healthcare services.
- Direct and manage staff under their delegation, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, promoting empathy and understanding.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality patient care, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
This is a temporary full-time position for up to 65 weeks, working 38 hours per week. The role may be subject to extension at same or reduced hours.
Requirements- Position Classification: Health Mgr Lvl 2, Nurse Unit Mgr Lvl 2, Occupational Therapist Lvl 4, Social Worker Lvl 4
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or legal ability to live and work in Australia required.
