Operations Manager

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the establishment and operation of a new seafood processing facility. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build and lead a team.
About the RoleThis is a key position in our business, responsible for overseeing the commissioning of equipment, recruiting and developing a processing team, and ensuring compliance with quality protocols. The successful candidate will have experience in operations, production, or project management, preferably in the FMCG, seafood, or food processing industry.
- Lead the establishment and operation of a new seafood processing facility
- Recruit, train, and lead a processing team
- Oversight of daily operations, including manufacturing, processing, and retail activities
- Ensure compliance with quality protocols and regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years' experience in operations, production, or project management
- Proven ability to recruit, build, and lead teams
- Strong technical knowledge of processing/manufacturing equipment and compliance frameworks
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Experience with budgets, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
