Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare, install, and maintain controls-related equipment for subsea hardware including SPCTU, Sensor Simulators, SCM, WOCM, WAMS, HMI, G2i Batteries, PCR, HCR, ESD, IR/CR, and Smartool Laptops.
  • Install, test, and repair new and reworked products related to controls in subsea installations.
  • Collaborate with teams to safely and successfully install various subsea hardware components.
  • Address customer comments, requests, and complaints professionally.
  • Provide sales support by ensuring customers are fully informed about all aspects of the job.
  • Complete and submit Field Service Orders (FSO) and Field Spare Parts Tickets (FSPT) in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and report all quality issues and documentation to Service Management.
  • Finalize field documentation upon completion of each service job.
  • Offer project support and resolve project-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and complete safety documentation promoting safe work practices.
  • Lead others in task execution in accordance with procedures, codes, and standards.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a field service technician role related to controls.
  • Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Subsea Controls Systems, Commissioning and Topside Controls Systems, Subsea Equipment, IWOCS/Hydraulics Equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings.
  • Capability to perform moderately complex calculations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and teaching skills related to technical tools and instruments.
  • Knowledge of relevant theories, practices, and internal business processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
