About us, we are a leading medical specialist group providing cardiac and vascular diagnostic imaging services together with sleep and respiratory services.
We have multiple clinics across the Perth Region and Melbourne. Our team is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our organization as casual sleep scientists working from our inpatient Perth-based sleep laboratories, as well as performing home based sleep study set-ups from our outpatient clinics.
- Set up patients for in-lab sleep studies including the application of electrodes and sensors to the patient.
- Set up patients for home-based sleep studies in our outpatient clinics.
- Interact with patients to explain testing and treatment procedures and ensure all relevant patient data is recorded accurately and comprehensively.
- Overnight monitoring of signals and ensuring the well-being of the patients.
- Scoring and analysis of polysomnographs, helping prepare provisional reports for our sleep physicians.
- For those with more experience, provide training and support for other sleep technologists.
- A degree in health sciences (or related) is required for this role.
- Previous experience as a sleep scientist or sleep technologist is highly regarded but not required as paid, in-house training will be provided.
- Competitive hourly rate with overnight and weekend loading where applicable.
