We are seeking a skilled Educated Electrician to fill this challenging role at our leading industrial organisation in Melbourne, Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Predominantly carry out scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure prompt response to equipment breakdowns to prevent prolonged downtime and maintain production targets.
  • Install, commission, and service electrical systems, sensors, conveyors, and variable speed drives.
  • Critically assess workplace risks and provide detailed reports to enhance the implementation of safe work practices.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and efficiency improvements.
About You:
  • You must hold a current A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • You should have significant experience working in an industrial environment, preferably within the FMCG, pharma, packaging, or energy sectors.
  • You should possess demonstrated expertise in high-speed packaging lines, conveyors, automation systems, sensors, and variable speed drives.
  • You must be a hands-on problem solver with strong diagnostic skills.
  • You should be a clear communicator capable of building effective working relationships across operations and engineering teams.
