General Overview

Salary: AU$33-AU$35 per hour plus penalties and superannuation benefits.

Job Description

  • As a General Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks across the production floor, including shifting steel plates from plasma cutting beds, using hand and power tools to clean parts, and operating forklifts safely.
  • You will work collaboratively as part of a team to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a similar role within the steel industry is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle are also essential for this position.
  • A forklift license, dogman license, and overhead crane license would be advantageous.
  • You must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug tests.
