Role Overview


Cleaner and Trolley Collector Team Members play a vital role in ensuring our stores are always well-maintained and tidy. As a member of the Proactive Services team, you'll work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver exceptional cleaning and trolley collection services across our stores.


Key Responsibilities



  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks in accordance with schedules, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms, and emptying bins.
  • Collect trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas.
  • Support various store departments by delivering specific cleaning needs.
  • Assist customers in-store by answering questions or providing directions.


Requirements



  • Physical fitness is crucial for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks. The ability to comfortably handle the physical demands of the role is vital to ensure success and maintain a safe working environment.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and lift loads between 5-10 kgs.
  • Flexibility to work across various environments, such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and car parks.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6 am or 5 pm.
  • A good eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
