About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics in maintaining our brand-new fleet safely, efficiently, and to ensure maximum output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate work and supervise the day-to-day activity of a small team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Auto Electricians, Servicepersons, and Apprentices.
  • Ensure that works being performed are done in a safe manner and in line with WHS legislation and company OH&S standards.
  • Ensure that machines operating within the project are maintained to company standards and as per OEM specifications.
  • Report to the Maintenance Manager on day-to-day activities, breakdowns, and labour requirements.
  • Promote and maintain a positive safety culture within the team.
  • Heavy Diesel Mechanic duties including maintenance of Komatsu Rigid Dump trucks, Hitachi Excavators, and Caterpillar Ancillary Equipment.
  • Workshop and pit duties as required.
About You
  • Driver's license (HR License)
  • Trade Qualified in Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Previous experience as a Senior Maintenance Supervisor
  • Previous experience in mining either in field services or mobile equipment maintenance
  • Proven track record of safe operating practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
