About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Care Manager to lead the provision of direct care and create a warm, nurturing environment for children and young people in our Family Reunification House.
- Full time Monday – Friday position with occasional weekends and sleepovers.
- SCHCADS Award Level 5. Salary range is $97,378 – $101,788 + Superannuation + Penalties.
- This role is government funded until 31 December 2026 with possible extension.
The successful candidate will lead a team of Residential Support Workers and work closely with the Program Coordinator on daily operations.
- Lead the provision of quality trauma-informed care aligned to the Hope and Healing Framework.
- Maintain high-quality care for children while developing a local, sustainable service.
- Lead the team in creating a warm, structured environment and foster positive relationships with families and communities.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Degree in Community Services or a related field.
- Hope and Healing Foundations Framework certificate.
- Experience working within a trauma-informed framework.
- Skills in managing challenging behaviors and mentoring staff.
