About the Role

The Administrative Support Specialist provides comprehensive executive support for the Head of Policy and Corporate Services and delivers essential administrative services to the business unit that includes policy, customer and Ministerial services, legal, compliance and board secretariat. In this role, you will assist the wider team with specific projects to ensure efficient operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executive Support: Manage the Head of Policy and Corporate Services email and diary, prioritise tasks, including managing sensitive materials.
  • Business Support: Coordinate requirements for key meetings, serve as a liaison for stakeholders, handle finance-related processes and maintain records.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organise leadership meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items while producing reports and presentations as needed.
  • Customer Service: Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, addressing requests and inquiries in a timely manner.

Your success in this role will come from:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (Desirable)
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities (Essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on relationship building (Essential)
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines (Essential)
  • Demonstrated initiative and judgement in analysing problems and implementing solutions (Essential)
