The State of Victoria is seeking a highly skilled After Hours Bail Assessment Worker to join our Youth Justice team.
This role sits within the Youth Justice Bail and Court Advice Service (YJBCAS), which includes the Youth Justice Bail After Hours Service (YJBAS) and the Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support (EBSS) team.
You will be responsible for providing bail assessments and advice to Bail Justices and the Weekend Online Remand Court (WORC) outside of standard business hours, including weeknights, weekends, and public holidays.
Your key responsibilities will include conducting quality bail assessments, creating reports, and providing expert advice to Bail Justices and the WORC. You will also respond to after-hours electronic monitoring alerts, provide technical expertise in electronic monitoring, and conduct installation, maintenance, and removal of electronic monitoring devices.
This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires advanced knowledge of the Youth Justice system, statutory Youth Justice, Corrections, Child Protection, or related fields. If you have experience in electronic monitoring and a passion for supporting young people, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality bail assessments and create reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card
- Current full driver's license
