Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a team-oriented individual with horticultural expertise to fill the role of Garden Maintenance Team Leader. This position presents a unique opportunity for you to combine your passion for gardening with leadership skills and organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and implement schedules and task prioritisation systems to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices
  • Conduct regular inspections of garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • White Card
  • Valid Drivers' license
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
