About the Role:

  • We're seeking an experienced learning specialist to develop and deliver culturally appropriate e-learning content and blended training programs that enhance digital and professional capabilities of First Nations peoples.
  • This role involves creating a matrix of skill competencies based on identified skills required for the role against a Digital Skills Framework.
  • Consultation with stakeholders will be key in defining role requirements and co-designing models of delivery.
  • The successful candidate will identify existing training or develop new content to support professional development, facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions across 30 Indigenous Knowledge Centres.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders is crucial to ensure training programs are respectful, relevant, and aligned with Indigenous cultural values and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • At least 5 years' experience in training development and delivery, preferably within community and local council projects.
  • A qualification in Training, Education, Human Resources, or other relevant field, or equivalent work experience and demonstrated expertise in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning tools, and virtual training platforms.
