Job Title: Senior Manager, Line 1 Risk and Compliance SME

">About the Position:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our risk management initiatives across Investment Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively identify and mitigate potential risks in financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust risk management practices and controls, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor risk exposure and regularly report to senior management and risk committees.
  • Ensure effective governance and compliance frameworks are implemented and maintained.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in governance, regulatory compliance or legal roles, preferably in financial services.
  • Proven track record of interpreting and applying legislative requirements in regulated Superannuation/Investment financial services businesses.
  • Strong understanding of Legal, Risk and Compliance frameworks, with ability to consider compliance strategically and take a commercial approach when required.
